The Highgate International Chamber Music Festival & Ex-Animo Mentorship Scheme is to help young musicians develop their talent with the support of professional musicians and for established musicians to pass on wisdom and experience to these young musicians just starting out.
This is an opportunity to discuss performance; explore a repertoire; exchange ideas/techniques; discuss interpretation; and, offer guidance in respect to professional development and promotion.
Cellist Ashok Klouda, co-founder and director of the Highgate International Chamber Music Festival, has performed all over the world as a soloist as well as a member of various chamber music ensembles. He is also a teacher of cello and currently heads up the Ex-Animo Foundation® Mentorship Scheme and this past year has been mentoring the Kanneh-Mason Piano Trio.
